Traunerl are traditional wooden boats which have been used since many generations to transport goods and people over the lakes of the beautiful Salzkammergut.  The Traunerl which is seen on the beginning of the clip (on the bottom of the lake) once had the honour to host the Austrian emperor Kaiser Franz Joseph and on other occasions the one or the other secret letter was delivered with this wooden boat over the lake to find the way to his love which was living close to Bad Ischl.

Martin Eisl wrote a piece about the beauty to row with a Traunerl over the lake and I took the opportunity of a foggy autumn morning to shoot a video for his composition.
